Emerging Tower I is my interpretation of Brancusi's Endless Column. His original design was meant for an apartment building where each tenant would have four views. I like to think that I have taken his masterpiece one step further by opening up the sections, allowing light and air to move through.

There is a three foot radius arc to each of the individual plates that comprise Emerging Tower I. This slight curvature gives the piece a movement that is hard to perceive, yet pleasing to the senses. As the viewer walks around the piece, there are two points where the sections align into a straight edge, a surprising detail from this otherwise curvaceous piece.
