He and She happened. No Garden of Eden here, just some torch-cut flat bar that came about as I was remodeling a fork lift guard. I couldn't resist playing with the orange/red sections, and a dialog between the sexes evolved.

The base of He and She is integral to the piece, a delicate counterpoint to the weighty interaction that it supports. I like to think that it drains some seriousness from the piece and allows the viewer to laugh at the drama that we so often inject into our relationships.
