Resting Place is a private place to seek shelter from whatever might be pursuing you, be it physical fatigue or the social or mental demands of a busy world. One can literally rest inside the piece, or figuratively place your burden there.

My hope is to expand on this piece further, and to create a series of “resting places” that might evolve into benches and chairs for outdoor settings.
